The guidelines include threshold values and exclusion criteria that make an allergic reaction very unlikely. These criteria are regularly updated to include the latest scientific findings. A product only receives the allergy-friendly certification of the ECARF Seal if it can be proven by expert opinions or studies that the requirements are met.
